WEC - Kelvin van der Linde at the wheel of an Akkodis ASP Lexus RC F GT3
Will Kelvin van der Linde, a collateral victim of the end of the Audi Customer Racing programmes, bounce back in WEC? With Ritomo Miyata finally having an opportunity to race in F2, Toyota Gazoo Racing's future WEC reserve driver will not be able to take the wheel, as had been planned, of one the two Lexus RC F GT3s that Akkodis ASP will be fielding in the World Endurance Championship.
As a result, Toyota and Akkodis-ASP had to go back in search of a top driver for their joint entry into LMGT3. However, Jérôme Policand's French team is currently in Barcelona for testing. And via photos posted on social networks by people who are there, we can see that José María López (who has already been officially entered on one of the two cars) is not alone. The Argentinian is sharing the wheel with South African Kelvin van der Linde.
AHORA!!!

Sheldon, 27, has long been an official representative of Audi Sport Customer Racing. Winner of the 2017 and 2022 editions of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, Sheldon's older brother also won the ADAC GT Masters in 2019.
As a reminder, according to our information, apart from José María López and Kelvin van der Linde, Takeshi Kimura and Esteban Masson are expected to drive a Lexus RC F GT3. Atsushi Miyake was also tested by Akkodis ASP in a Mercedes-AMG GT3.
