HAAS racing team, created by former F1 Photographer Sandrine HAAS and team Principal Kris DEDONCKER in 2022 is the new comer on the endurance GT motorsports scene.

As it started the 2023 season, the new team went to the end of the Dubaï 24-hour race finishing the 5th place in the general classification… Not too bad for a starter! After that the team entered the Abu Dhabi 6 Hours, setting the overall best lap in the race and 3rd in the general classification. Without having participated at the third Middle East race, Haas Racing team finished the Middle East championship 2nd overall.

Further in the season, the team entered the Creventic Series. At the Mugello 12 Hours, they finished on the very top… not too bad for a starter… In Spa the Audi R8 GT3 started on pole position, unfortunately an accident during the race hindered them to finish the race. Same thing in the Monza 12 Hours, where the team had to withdraw further to mechanical issues 20 minutes before the end. But never mind… the team is motivated to go on. In the Estoril 6-hour qualifying race, they went for third place overall, but had less lack in the 12 hours as they were not able to go to the chequered flag. Haas racing team ended up the Barcelona 24 Hours with overall best lap in the race, 2nd in the overall classification, and thus 1st of the GT3 category.

In the end, the team won the GT3 category for its first full European Creventic season. Not too bad for a starter…

The end of 2023 will see the team enter the Gulf 12 hours with a new four-driver line up.

Amongst them, two have been part of the team for some of the races this year, such as Fin driver Miika PANU (Monza & Barcelona) and Belgian Grégory SERVAIS (Estoril).

Frenchman Grégory GUILVERT is brand new in the antigua-belgian team, but not in motorsports of course. Apart from his other automotive records since he has been on track for almost 20 years, in 2023 he won the GT4 European Series, and is vice champion in French FFSA GT4 championship. He will be the Silver amongst the bronze drivers.

Xavier KNAUF is a Belgian Bronze driver, who was involved this season in the Ligier JS cup which he finished 3rd in the Pro Am category. He completes the Gulf 12-hour line-up.

With three bronze and one Silver drivers, the HAAS Racing team which has already proved to have its place amongst the bests, will surely impressed one more time before the end of 2023 season.
