IMSA - Oliver Jarvis to join Pfaff in 2024
This year, Pfaff Motorsports failed to retain the IMSA crown it won in GTD Pro in 2022 thanks to the Matt Campbell / Mathieu Jaminet. And at the end of the 2023 season, the Canadian outfit decided to leave the Porsche fold and join McLaren, swapping the 911 GT3 R (992) for the 720 S GT3.
It remained to be seen who would be entrusted with the car. That doubt has now been removed. As we mentioned a few days ago, Chris Pfaff - the president - has decided to sign up Marvin Kirchhöfer. The 29-year-old German won the German F3 championship before finishing third in the GP3 Series in 2014 and 2015. He switched to GT in 2016 and finished third in the ADAC GT Masters in 2018. As an official McLaren GT driver since 2021, he has been offered a fantastic opportunity.
Say hello to our next full season driver! We’re ready to fight for a championship too, @ollyjarvis 👊 That’s 3/4 of our lineup for next season, any guesses on the final endurance driver? #IMSA | #FueledByDriveway pic.twitter.com/shrpbaUEMW

With just one IMSA start to his name, at the last 24 Hours of Daytona, he will be able to draw on the experience of Oliver Jarvis. Ten years his senior, the Briton seems to be improving with time. He knows all about IMSA, having competed in the series since 2014, including last year's DPi title with Meyer Shank Racing.
Winner of the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2013, the Petit Le Mans in 2021 and 2022 and the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2022, he finished runner-up in this year's ELMS with United Autosports.
