TF Sport is ready to tackle the Asian Le Mans Series with a strong line up in LMP2
Another Asian campaign is about to begin for TF Sport. The team is set to fight once again in the Asian Le Mans Series, the prestigious championship that takes place during the winter at some of the world’s most famous circuits.
TF Sport will race in the 4 Hours of Sepang 2023 (1 - 3 December 2023), in the 4 Hours of Dubai (2 - 4 February 2024) and in the 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi (9 - 11 February 2024) with a strong and talented line-up. The team bearers will be Salih Yoluç, Michael Dinan and Charlie Eastwood, three drivers who have already defended the team colours during this season. Our drivers will be racing in the LMP2 class in the Oreca 07 Gibson #90, glittering in its shiny new blue, silver and white livery.
With 11 LMP2 entering the championship we know the battle will be fierce, but we are absolutely ready for any challenge. See you at Sepang!
Salih Yoluç, TF Sport Bronze Driver: “I'm very happy to return to the Asian Le Mans Series to defend our title with Charlie and I'm also very happy to do it with our own team this time. I'm also happy to have Michael as a teammate: he has been a successful GT driver, so with our line-up I'm sure we will be fighting for wins and podiums. I can't wait to get going”
Charlie Eastwood, TF Sport Gold Driver: “It’s great to return to Asian Le Mans Series as reigning champions. I love the format of the series, with so much driving during the winter to both keep sharp and have another crack at the championship. A lot more familiar faces this year running with TF Sport, and sharing the car with both Salih and Michael - who I know well - should hopefully put us in a great position to start a great campaign”
Michael Dinan, TF Sport Silver Driver: “I am excited to move up to LMP2 and to race in the Asian Le Mans Series for the first time. Having raced GTs for the last five seasons, this will be my first outing in a prototype. It is an exciting change and a new challenge. TF Sport is an amazing team and it is always a privilege to race for them. I am looking forward to sharing the car with Charlie and Salih and taking the battle to Asia!”
Tom Ferrier, TF Sport Director: “I am really happy with our line-up formed by Salih, Michael and Charlie. All the drivers know each and the team from this year's programs and will form a strong line-up. The new livery looks fantastic and everyone is really excited to get going in Sepang”
