Team Jota, which will field two Porsche 963s in next year's World Endurance Championship, could put its faith in Frenchman Norman Nato. We explain why...

It's great to see the drivers market getting more active and the situation of some talented drivers becoming clearer. After a successful career in single-seaters, Norman Nato has been seen in endurance racing in LMP2 (Racing Engineering, TDS Racing, WRT, AF Corse, etc.) and LMP1 (Rebellion), an he could make his return to the top class.

The 31-year-old Frenchman is about to arrive in Bahrain. Why is he there? According to our information, he will be taking part in the Rookie Test this Sunday in the #38 Porsche 963 of Team Jota, with Pietro Fittipaldi.

For the Brazilian, this is more of a reward for services rendered, as he will be contesting the entire IndyCar Series season with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing next year and will therefore not be able to double that with a WEC programme.

However, things are different for the Frenchman. And for good reason, he is not linked to Team Jota or Porsche. If the neo-pilot Andretti Global in Formula E is involved this Sunday in Bahrain, it's because there's more behind that. Could he be part of the Team Jota's Hypercar programme next year ? Probably, in the #38 963 alongside Will Stevens. And this despite the clash of dates between the Berlin ePrix and the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

As for the third man, we'll have to wait and see who he is, as António Félix da Costa has been banned by Porsche from competing in any championship other than Formula E in 2024.
