WEC - Esteban Masson with Kessel Racing in Bahrain
There has been a change in the 8 Hours of Bahrain entry list. The N°57 Kessel Racing Ferrari 488 GTE will not be driven by the usual Takeshi Kimura-Daniel Serra-Scott Huffaker trio.

The latter will be giving up his place in this event to a young Frenchman: Esteban Masson. The 19-year-old Montreal-born Masson has shown number of convincing performances in single-seaters. For good reason, he was crowned French Formula 4 champion in 2021. This year, he also won the Eurocup-3 before competing in a number of Formula Regional Europe races with Saintéloc Racing.
But in the light of his latest outings, it's a safe bet that Esteban now has his sights set on endurance racing. The day after the final race of the 2023 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup season in Barcelona, the FIA Silver driver Frenchman took the wheel of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 of the Akkodis-ASP team.
Akkodis-ASP was taking advantage of the opportunity to test a number of drivers in preparation for its participation in next year's WEC with two Lexus RC F GT3s. In one of them, we should find Takeshi Kimura...
