Job van Uitert joins Floyd Vanwall Racing for Bahrain Rookie Test

Floyd Vanwall Racing Team is pleased to announce Job van Uitert will join the team for the FIA WEC Rookie Test at Bahrain International Circuit on Sunday 5th of November. Van Uitert who previously raced in the FIA World Endurance Championship and ELMS (European Le Mans Series) in the LMP 2 category will now step up and test the Vandervell 680 Hypercar in the top class of Le Mans prototypes.

Job van Uitert said: “I’m very pleased to be joining the Floyd Vanwall Racing Team for the Rookie Test in Bahrain. It is a great next step in my career to have the opportunity to drive a Hypercar. I’d like to thank Dr. Colin Kolles for placing trust in me and I look forward to my first laps in the Vandervell 680.”

Vanwall Team Principal Dr. Colin Kolles said: “I have been following Job’s career since he started in Formula 4. He has impressed me with his performance, determination and consistency racing LMP2 prototypes. Throughout my motorsport career I have encouraged  and supported talented young drivers and I am sure the Rookie Test provides an excellent opportunity for Job to demonstrate his skills in our Vanwall Hypercar ”
