IMSA - Follow the Petit Le Mans qualifying session live video from 9.20pm (CET)
Tomorrow, we will finally know the first IMSA champion of the GTP era. As a reminder, six competitors are still mathematically in a position to win the title. But before that, it's time for the hunt for pole position this evening.

As a reminder, in IMSA, the pole position winner earns 35 points, compared with 350 for victory.
This year, in qualifying, the best were Tom Blomqvist (#60 Acura / Meyer Shank Racing), Pipo Derani (#31 Cadillac / Action Express Racing) and Matt Campbell (#7 Porsche / Penske Motorsport). The Briton claimed pole position at Daytona and Mosport, the Brazilian did the same at Sebring and Road America and the Australian at Laguna Seca and Indianapolis. Filipe Albuquerque (#10 Acura ARX-06 / Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti) was at his best in Long Beach.
On the manufacturers' side, it was Acura who had the advantage with three pole positions, compared with two for Cadillac and Porsche and zero for BMW.
As a reminder, yesterday Sébastien Bourdais set the fastest time in Free Practice 1 and 2, while Filipe Albuquerque took the lead in Free Practice 3.
