Although we've become accustomed to seeing him in the Hypercar class in a Porsche 963, Kévin Estre is still a world reference in the GT categories. Pfaff Motorsports made no mistake and decided to sign him up for Petit Le Mans (14 October), the final round of the 2023 IMSA SportsCar Championship season.

Although Laurens Vanthoor has been acting as a "freelancer" for the endurance races at the wheel of the title-winning team's #9 Porsche 911 GT3-R, he is not available. And for good reason, the Belgian has been requisitioned by Porsche Penske Motorsport to support Mathieu Jaminet and Nick Tandy in the n°6 963 at Michelin Road Atlanta Raceway. A replacement therefore had to be found, and Kévin Estre is the perfect guy for this.

The Frenchman will be giving a hand to Patrick Pilet and Klaus Bachler, the two regulars. At the time of writing, on the eve of the ninth round of the season on the VIR, the two men are in fourth place overall, 223 points behind the leaders.
