Yuki will complement the impressive line-up, including Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel with their F1 show runs, and he will become the youngest driver to drive around the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

“I’ve never driven at the Nürburgring before, so I’m really looking forward to the event in September. I can’t wait to drive around it in my HONDA NSX GT3 Evo, which is an incredible car and a proven race-winning machine at the highest level of GT3 competition”, says Yuki. “The Nordschleife is a legendary circuit, I just experienced it on the Gran Turismo videogame and already enjoyed it a lot.”

In 2020, Yuki Tsunoda claimed a sensational third place in the FIA Formula 2 Championship as part of the Red Bull Junior Team and Honda Junior program. In his successful year, he collected enough points for a super license, which lead him to his first seat with us in Formula 1.  A dream come true for Yuki, who started watching kart races at the Nakai kart track in Japan with his father at the age of four.

The historic Nordschleife was first opened in 1927 and, with its 73 corners, rapid ascents, and descents with a drop of 300 meters per lap, remains the scene of countless victories and huge motorsport excitement to this day. One highlight of the circuit is the Caracciola Carousel, where each driver is bound to break a sweat on the steep bend with its rough concrete slabs. The approximately 30,000 motorsport fans can expect impressive Formula 1 show runs and plenty of other jaw-dropping show highlights at Red Bull Formula Nürburgring. In addition, spectators will have the opportunity to experience the 12-hour race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series up close.
