The scrutineering programme for the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans

Scrutineering will be the first big event of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary. Over two days, the 62 cars and 186 drivers competing will undergo the mandatory administrative and technical checks ahead of the race. The 16 Hypercars, 24 LMP2s, 21 LMGTE Ams and the Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, fielded in the Innovative Car class, will be presented in the town centre before they take to the track for Test Day on Sunday 4 June.

Thirty-nine cars will be inspected on Friday 2 June. The DKR Engineering #43 Oreca 07-Gibson entered in the LMP2 class will open the proceedings at 10am. The #4 Vanwall Vandervell 680 (Floyd Vanwall Racing Team), the #38 Porsche 963 (Hertz Team Jota), the #35 and #36 Oreca 07-Gibsons (Alpine Elf Team) and the #93 and #94 Peugeot 9X8 (Peugeot TotalEnergies) will also feature on the first day. The next day, spectators in attendance can admire the Porsche 963 #5, #6 and #75 (Porsche Penske Motorsport), along with the Cadillac V-Series, the Toyota GR010 Hybrid and the Glickenhaus 007. The eagerly awaited #50 and #51 Ferrari 499Ps (Ferrari AF Corse) will bring the second day of Scrutineering to a close.

From 3pm on Saturday, eight cars will drive away from Scrutineering in a parade. They will start from the Avenue Charles de Gaulle and head to Quai Louis Blanc, via Avenue François Mitterrand, Place des Jacobins and the Wilbur Wright tunnel.
