John Farano had a scare yesterday at Laguna Seca, the fourth round of the 2023 IMSA season. The 63-year-old Canadian went off the track at the end of the first hour of the race. And it took some time for the medical staff to remove him from the seat of the #8 Tower Motorsports Oreca 07.

So much so that the circuit doctors sent him to hospital for further tests. But during the night, his team communicated reassuring news.

As a reminder, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (10-11 June), John Farano will share the wheel of the #13 Oreca 07 in Michel Vaillant colours with German René Rast and American Ricky Taylor. The car will be run under the Tower Motorsports banner but will be prepared by the TDS Racing team.
