Robin Frijns has announced his departure from Audi Sport after seven years. However, the Dutchman should bounce back very quickly.

Robin Frijns will no longer be driving for Audi Sport from 2023 onwards. The Dutchman announced the end of his collaboration with the German brand on Saturday after seven very successful seasons.   Frijns has been involved in GT with Team WRT and Team Phoenix, with successes in the Blancpain GT Series (overall in 2015, Sprint Cup in 2017), IGTC (Bathurst 12 Hours in 2018), the Nürburgring 24 Hours (victory in 2022), the DTM with ABT... He leaves the company with a strong track record.

It remains to be seen what the future will hold for the Dutchman, who will, we have no doubt, bounce back fairly quickly in view of his speed, both in GT and in Proto (2021 LM P2 WEC champion and winner of the 2021 Le Mans 24 Hours with Team WRT). It is very likely that his future will be written in the Hypercar class with BMW. Confirmation soon?
