Over the last few days, the Tipo 6 LMH Competizione has successfully passed the crash test required by the FIA, an important step in its homologation process. This means that it can now proceed to its first test session on 11 and 12 April at the Vallelunga circuit (Italy).

As previously reported by Endurance-Info, Michelotto driver Maurizio Mediani will be at the wheel of the Italian Hypercar. The 54-year-old Italian - four starts at the 24 Hours of Le Mans - has also been called in for development work.

This will be an opportunity to check all the information gathered in simulation, and in particular on the four-wheel drive test bench on which the car spent quite some time in February and March. For the occasion, the car will be equipped with a raw carbon body without any sponsors.
