WEC - Peugeot 9X8, how bad is it, Doctor?

Despite a partial season in 2022, the 9X8 experienced a nightmare at the 1000 miles of Sebring. Here is the story and explanations of a predicted debacle.

REMINDER OF THE FACTS

After a short shakedown in December 2021 and a real first test session in January, the 9X8 took part in its first race on July 10, during the 6 Hours of Monza. And this with more than 15,000 kilometres of private testing under its belt. In Italy, behind the competition during the race, the two cars were slowed down by various technical issues, including the clogging of the radiators which led to a slight modification from the outset. But in spite of this, as early as the 6 Hours of Fuji, the team had proclaimed its podium ambitions.
