WHAT HAPPENED?
That Acura dominated the 61st edition of the 24 Hours of Daytona is understandable. The ARX-06 was faster than its opponents. What was more surprising was the slap in the face by Meyer Shank Racing to Wayne Taylor Racing, the undisputed benchmark at Daytona International Speedway in recent years. At the start of the race, the No. 60 humiliated the competition, as if they were cars from a lower class. And in the final stint, Filipe Albuquerque was unable to keep pace with Tom Blomqvist.
