Rutronik Racing with a strong NLS quartet
Rutronik Racing is back on the Nordschleife and wants to show what the Porsche 911 GT3R is capable of after the 24-hour entry in 2021. The first three Nürburgring long-distance series events are contested as well as the legendary highlight at the Ring.
In addition to Dennis Olsen, who is also tackling the Endurance Cup of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS with the team, Matteo Cairoli, Julien Andlauer and Tobias Müller are in the selected quartet.
Olsen, Andlauer and Cairoli have been part of the Porsche Motorsport driver pool for years and have already celebrated notable class victories and titles for the German manufacturer. Tobias Müller was already part of the Rutronik Racing squad at the Nürburgring in 2021 and has been gaining experience in the green hell for years.
Rutronik Racing has to refrain from participating in the qualifier due to an overlapping event with the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS.
Fabian Plentz, Team Principal Rutronik Racing: "During our first attempt at the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring in 2021 together with Porsche, unfortunately, racing luck ran out on us in the end. I said back then that we now have a score to settle here. We are looking forward to the challenge.”
Klaus Graf, Sporting Director: “The 24h race at the Nürburgring is one of the highlights on the German motorsport calendar. We are very motivated to tackle the 24h at the Hatz with the new Porsche 992 GT3R. The preparation will be very intensive, as there is a lot to learn in just a few races in order to optimally prepare the car for the Nordschleife. Our very homogeneous driver quartet will give us a lot of support in this task.”
