With the opening round of the 2023 season taking place next week, the WEC has already published the entry list for the Portuguese round.
The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (Portugal) will be the venue for the second round of the 2023 World Endurance Championship season on 16 April. As in Sebring, 37 cars are expected to take place on the starting grid, including 11 in Hypercar, 12 in LMP2 and 14 in GTE Am. There are no major changes to be noted apart from the presence of local driver Antonio Félix da Costa in the #48 Oreca 07 of the Hertz Team Jota. The Portuguese will take the place of Will Stevens - who will drive the car in Sebring - alongside Yifei Ye and Daniel Beckmann. It also remains to be seen who will team up with Paul Dalla Lana and Nicki Thiim in the #98 AMR Aston Martin Vantage running under the Northwest AMR banner.
