Oregon Team returns to the International GT Open with two Pro duos, aiming to defend the title claimed last year with Leonardo Pulcini and Benjamin Hites.

The Cremosano-based squad faces its second season in the Jesus Pareja's series with the Lamborghinis, bringing the brand-new Huracán GT3 EVO2s to the championship debut. The team led by Jerry Canevisio and Piergiorgio Testa will field two cars, alongside its Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe program.

One of the crews will be formed by Maximilian Paul and Pierre-Louis Chovet. The 23-year-old German racer has a huge experience in the ADAC GT Masters and did some participations in the DTM and IMSA. To pair him will be 20-year-old Frenchman Chovet, who moved last year from the single seaters to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe.

The other car will be shared by Pietro Perolini and Daan Pijl. Both raced in the Sant'Agata Bolognese's one-make series. In 2018 the first one clinched the Italian GT title of the Super GT Cup driving a Lamborghini. In the same series, Dutchman Pijl (19 years old) claimed last season some podium finishes. He also made a couple of appearances in the GT Cup Europe in 2021 and claimed three Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe victories in the same year, two at Misano and one at Spa.

"We aim to double the last year title with the young duo Paul/Chovet as well as with Perolini/Pijl. After the last year victory with the Lamborghini, in our first season in the GT3, we have more experience and this could help us to make weel again", stated Jerry Canevisio.

The 2023 calendar of the International GT Open will consist in seven rounds. The first at Portimão (30 April), followed by Spa (28 May), Hungaroring (18 June), Le Castellet (23 July), Red Bull Ring (10 September), Monza (24 September) and Barcelona (22 October). .
