This is going to delight more than one fan. Indeed, after the pre-race scrutineerings, some cars would leave the Place de la République by driving on the public road.

Many Le Mans 24 Hours aficionados regret that the cars no longer reach the circuit by road. In the past, in addition to "park" their race cars in local garages - like Porsche in Téloché - or in local hotels between sessions, some teams even closed roads to carry out tests.
