Three invitations to the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans remained to be awarded following the Asian Le Mans Series season. Each champion team is invited to La Sarthe in June.

DKR Engineering (LMP2)

With four podiums in four races with having won one, DKR Engineering takes the LMP2 crown and the ticket for Le Mans. DKR played the regularity with Salih Yoluc, Ayhancan Güven and Charlie Eastwood. Since the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2022 - where the team of Kendy Janclaes climbed on the podium in LMP2 Pro-Am, - the team from Luxembourg always finished in Top 3 : Le Mans and four podiums in Asian Le Mans Series. The only thing left to do now is to form a crew, which should not be too complicated.    As a reminder, the DKR Engineering Oreca 07 is registered in European Le Mans Series (LMP2 Pro-Am) with Tom Van Rompuy behind the wheel.

Graff Racing (LMP3 title, Le Mans in LMP2)

With a ten points lead before the final, MV2S Racing could have seen it coming, but a car race remains a car race. In the end, it was Pascal Rauturier's Graff Racing that took home the crown and the invitation that goes with it. We will undoubtedly see François Heriau, one of the three LMP3 champions, who shared his wheel with Fabrice Rossello and Xavier Lloveras.

Le Mans now awaits the team led by Fabien Lavergne, with an experienced team in LMP2. MV2S Racing, which has been turned down for the European Le Mans Series, will be back in the Le Mans Cup with its LMP3 team.

Walkenhorst at Le Mans in GTE-Am

By securing two victories in Dubai, the German team has struck a blow. This was necessary because the BMW M4 GT3 of Chandler Hull, Nick Catsburg and Thomas Merrill was not so convincing in Abu Dhabi. Probably a BoP story that was not officially communicated unlike in Dubai.

No matter, Henry Walkenhorst and his team will go to Le Mans next June. The German team will however have to find a GTE to go to La Sarthe, which should be easy. It will be between Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche.
