For Michael Blanchemain, the 2023 season began in the United Arab Emirates and continues on the Arabian Peninsula in the Asian Le Mans Series in one of the two Mercedes-AMG GT3s entered by HRT.

After the 24 Hours of Dubai last month in a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, Michael Blanchemain is back in the UAE this month, this time in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 entered by Haupt Racing Team for Arjun Maini, Frank Bird and the French driver. For Michael Blanchemain, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 is nothing new, having driven for GetSpeed at the 24 Hours of Spa. One German team replaces another, even if HRT has a French accent on its technical side.
