Rutronik Racing announces its updated race schedule for 2023. The successful team not only changes brands, but also decides, contrary to the communicated ADAC GT Masters plans, to take part in the top-class Fanatec GT World Challenge across Europe. The program also includes the NLS on the Nordschleife.

Rutronik Racing causes a bang in GT3 racing. The successful team from Wilferdingen, Germany, is not only celebrating its Nordschleife comeback as part of the Nürburgring Endurance Series and the highlight of the season, the legendary 24-hour race. It makes a conscious decision to switch to the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS. The Endurance Cup will be tackled instead of the originally planned ADAC GT Masters commitment. The new challenge, in the top-class field of international top drivers, is already being looked forward to.

The driver and team champion from 2019 recently commented critically on the changes in the German motorsport scene. After numerous titles and victories with Audi, Rutronik Racing now relies on another German manufacturer. With the new Porsche 911 GT3R, the aim is to compete for the next championship and to build on the success story of recent years.

The team's driver constellation will be announced at a later time.

Fabian Plentz, Team Principal Rutronik Racing: "I am pleased that we were able to put together an extremely competitive program for the 2023 season together with Porsche Motorsport. Above all, the switch to the SRO GT World Challenge brings a new challenge that the entire team is ready for. It was time for a change of scenery and a breath of fresh air in our own ranks."

Klaus Graf, Sporting Director: "Being able to start with the new Porsche GT3R in the extremely competitive Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS Endurance Cup is a great sign of trust from our partners and sponsors. We have restructured the team in the winter months and spared no expense or effort to meet the demands of long-distance racing with today's GT3 vehicles."
