Felix Porteiro will not be seen in the Asian Le Mans Series at 99 Racing. The Spanish driver, who is present at the Dubai Autodrome, has been reclassified as Silver by the FIA, which means that the team is no longer in the running.    We had to wait until we were there, on the day before the first free practice session, for someone to discover the track record of Felix Porteiro, who oversees the training of young drivers at Porteiro Motorsport. The structure has trained Roberto Merhi, Carlos Sainz, Jaime Alguersuari and Vitaly Petrov.    99 Racing must now find a replacement for him for the four races of the Asian Le Mans Series. On paper, this may seem simple, as there are quite a few Bronze drivers capable of racing in an LMP2 car. However, you have to agree to share the wheel with a Russian driver, which makes some people wince.   Nikita Mazepin, like his father, is on the blacklist established by the European Union. As such, we can not see him in competition in Europe but he can drive in the United Arab Emirates.    Neel Jani and Nikta Mazepin are still waiting for the official announcement of a third driver.
