  • The Asian Le Mans Series includes four four-hour races in the United Arab Emirates, two at the Dubai Autodrome and two at the Yas Marina Circuit. 

 

  • 48 cars (24 prototypes and 24 GTs) and 140 drivers are registered this season.

  • Ten new teams entered this season: COOL Racing, 99 Racing, WTM by Rinaldi Racing, 360 Racing, MV2S Racing, GetSpeed, Leipert Motorsport, Bullitt Racing, Orange Racing Powered by JMH and Pure Rxcing. 

 

  • 12 Ligier JS P320s versus 3 Duqueine D08s in LMP3 

 

  • The GT field is much more varied: 5 Mercedes, 5 Aston Martins, 5 Porsches, 4 Ferraris, 3 McLarens, 1 Lamborghini, 1 BMW 

 

  • The Asian Le Mans Series offers three invitations to the 24 Hours of Le Mans: LMP2 (LMP2 champion), LMP2 (LMP3 champion), GTE-Am (GT champion)

 

  • Two qualifying sessions are scheduled: 15 minutes for LMP2/LMP3, 15 minutes for GT

 

  • Entry fee of 32,000 euros per car

 

  • The FIA categorization of drivers is for 2022 and not 2023. The Asian Le Mans Series Committee reserves the right (at its discretion) to move a driver up in grade only or to apply a penalty. 

 

  • Drivers ranked Bronze by FIA must compete in the qualifying session

 

  • The time for each stop is: in/out + tires + fuel + 10 seconds

 

  • Eight tires are allowed in each class for free practice, 4 for qualifying, 14 per race in LMP2, 10 in LMP3, 18 in GT.
