Simon Pagenaud at the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2023?
5 Feb. 2023 ‧ 12:00
Simon Pagenaud is aiming for a return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, perhaps even as early as 2023, after an excellent performance at the 24 Hours of Daytona with a second consecutive victory.
It is now 12 years since Simon Pagenaud last competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Montmorillonnais has taken part in the classic race four times, the last time in a Peugeot 908 which finished second. This is the only time that the Meyer Shank Racing driver has seen the chequered flag in Sarthe. The recent double winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona hopes to be at the start of the centenary edition next June, in parallel with his commitment to IndyCar with Meyer Shank Racing.
