You already know this if you are a faithful reader of Endurance-Info, but IDEC Sport has confirmed what we revealed a few days ago HERE : Laurents Hörr will be supporting the two in-house drivers, Paul Loup Chatin and Paul Lafargue.

"It's a great opportunity to have him (Hörr) with us", says Nicolas Minassian. "We have been meeting each others for several years in the paddock. We know his speed. He likes racing and he is happy to join us for this season. We are keeping our Paul / Paul-Loup duo which works very well, both on and off the track. We can only be happy with this line-up."

Hörr continued: "After doing Le Mans last year in a Pro Alm LMP2 car with a solid performance, I'm really looking forward to being back in a competitive car for the whole season. I've known Nico for several years and we get on really well. I'm just happy to have this opportunity. I'm not going to put any pressure on myself and enjoy the season. I'm looking forward to meeting the whole team."

As a reminder, the 25-year-old German has become one of the reference drivers in LMP3 in recent years. With the DKR Engineering colours, he won the ELMS title last year, and this after winning the Michelin Le Mans Cup twice, in 2019 and 2020. This should enable IDEC Sport to regain a European crown that has eluded them since 2019?

The French outfit has also confirmed that it will once again field a JS P320 Ligier for Patrice Lafargue and Dino Lunardi.
