Kévin Estre's last participation in the 24 Hours of Daytona was in 2021 as a third driver in a Porsche 911 RSR. The Porsche factory driver returns to Daytona in the Pro-Am, something he has not done since 2015 with Park Place Motorsports. Since the Roar, the Porsche 911 GT3 R cars have been suffering against the competition.

Before driving the Porsche 963 LMDh in the WEC on American soil at the 1000 Miles of Sebring in less than two months' time, Kévin Estre is competing in the 24 Hours of Daytona in a Porsche 911 GT3 R entered by Wright Motorsports in the GTD category for Alan Brynjolfsson, Trent Hindman, Max Root and therefore Kévin Estre. For the Porsche factory driver, it is a return to his roots, having made his debut here in 2011 in a 911 GT3 Cup/TRG in his very first endurance race.
