24H Daytona - Scott McLaughlin : "An event I've always wanted to take part in"

Three-time Australian Supercars champion and current Team Penske IndyCar driver, the 29-year-old New Zealander will be competing in his first 24 Hours of Daytona this week in the #8 Tower Motorsports Oreca.

How did your integration into Tower Motorsport go?
First of all, I would like to say that I am really happy to be here. Everyone at Tower Motorsport has done everything to integrate me as quickly as possible. We took care of everything concerning the installation, the sit... We have also practised a lot for driver changes, which is very useful.
You didn't take part in the collective test at the beginning of December, so you discovered the Oreca 07 during the Roar. Did you need time to get used to it?
