Corey Lewis returns to Paul Miller Racing, Maxime Martin rounds out Daytona driver lineup
Lewis returns to PMR after being a critical part of the team’s 2018 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD title, 2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona win and 2020 Michelin Endurance Cup victory. A part of the team from 2018 to 2021, Paul Miller Racing is excited to welcome the Pennsylvania native back for the four endurance rounds in 2023.
Belgian Maxime Martin will finalize the team’s lineup for 2023. The returning BMW factory driver will join the No. 1 Quartz Engine Oil-backed squad for the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Martin, who served as a BMW factory driver 2013-2017, achieved numerous successes with the marque including winning the Spa 24 in 2016. In the interim years, Martin has notched a win at Le Mans, a class victory at the Nurburgring 24, and a second-place championship finish in FIA WEC competition. The Belgian also co-drove with Roman De Angelis for select races en route to De Angelis’ 2022 IMSA GTD title.
“I think adding Corey and Maxime gives us a really strong lineup for Daytona and for the further three endurance races throughout the season,” Paul Miller Racing team owner, Paul Miller, said.
“For Corey, this return is really like a homecoming. He was such an important part of our team for so long, and I know everyone—especially Bryan and Madison—is happy to have him back.
“Maxime is a new addition to our team, but he’s proven himself on the international stage many times, and I know having him will make our team formidable for Daytona.”
