Floyd Vanwall Racing Team to enter WEC with Jacques Villeneuve

This is one of the great news of this list: as we revealed two days ago, Vanwall Racing had indeed asked en entry to run in the WEC for the year. And today we have learned that its application has been accepted by the LMEM selection committee.

And as we had predicted yesterday... Jacques Villeneuve will be there ! The 1996 F1 world champion, who was seen at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Peugeot in 2007 and 2008, is even one of three drivers that Colin Kolles' team has decided to put on the entry list with Tom Dillmann and Esteban Guerrieri.

However, it is unlikely that the Canadian will contest the entire season. If he does race, it will probably be for a few races, unlike Tom Dillmann and Esteban Guerrieri, who should be the two pillars of this adventure behind the wheel.
