Bullitt Racing confirms its program

The series, based once again in the United Arab Emirates next year, features 48 entries and four rounds at both Dubai Autodrome and at Yas Marina.  For Bullitt Racing, this is the perfect opportunity to compete at the front in a competitive endurance championship with its Gold-Silver-Bronze lineup, whilst continuing to build on the momentum gained with the new Vantage in 2022.

  2022 saw the Spanish-based squad field the #99 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, securing podiums at Imola, the Road to Le Mans and Monza en route to fourth position in the championship.

  The Asian Le Mans Series has been on the radar for the team for a number of years and in February, the team will field the #66 Vantage GT3 for Aston Martin factory driver Valentin Hasse-Clot, Jacob Riegel and Martin Berry.  

Valentin brings a wealth of experience to the team for the second year running. The French racer was pivotal in the team’s 2022 Le Mans Cup programme and will again be a key part of the team’s 2023 challenge. His pure pace and leadership of the squad is an exciting prospect for both the 26-year-old racer, as well as for the team.

  Jacob is just 18 years of age and competed in the DTM Trophy Series in 2022 in the GT4 variant of the Vantage, securing three podiums over the season. Prior to that, he enjoyed guest starts in the GT4 series as well as a Porsche Sportscup programme in his native Germany. 

   Martin Berry is the team’s bronze racer but is no stranger to success on the international stage. He is an Australian-born businessman, based in Singapore, which has meant that in recent years – like many based in Asia - his race programmes have been limited due to COVID travel restrictions.

  However, in 2022, he competed in the German Prototype Cup, and prior to that he has built up solid endurance racing experience in the 24H Series and the Blancpain GT Endurance Cup and won the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific in 2017. Along with Jacob and Valentin, he brings a great deal of potential, as the team expects to challenge for regular podiums in the 24-car GT3 class.

  The four-round Asian Le Mans Series gets underway with back-to-back races on February 11-12 in Dubai, followed by the final two rounds at Yas Marina on February 18-19. All races will be available to stream for free via the Asian Le Mans Series YouTube account.
