The GT4 European Series has finalised its 2023 schedule, with Misano returning to the calendar as part of the traditional six-round championship.

Due to some shifting of dates in the international racing calendar, and the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa moving to a late June-early July date, the GT4 European Series can now lock in its schedule for next season.

The campaign will begin at Monza in Italy on April 21-23, marking the championship’s first visit to The Temple of Speed since 2021. Circuit Paul Ricard hosts round two in early June, before the GT4 European Series again plays a major role as a supporting championship to the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa later that month.

Originally, a visit to the Nürburgring had then been planned. However, following some amendments in the international motor sports calendar, and taking into consideration the willingness of some teams to return to the Misano World Circuit, the championship will head back to Northern Italy for round four on July 14-16, with Hockenheim keeping its early September slot to host round five.

The championship finale will once again take place at Barcelona in Spain over September 29-October 1. In total, the 2023 GT4 European Series season will be fought out over 12 races across six race weekends.

The new non-championship Six Hours of Rome endurance event – the first in the world to cater solely for GT4 machinery – will be held at Vallelunga on October 27-29.
