Car Collection Motorsport orders two Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) for 2023

As early as 1995, Peter Schmidt started with a Porsche in what was called the Veedol Endurance Cup. Until 2015, he used up to 5 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup model 996, 997 and 991 in the then named VLN Endurance Championship. In 2018 and 2019, Car Collection Motorsport started in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and now, around 28 years after the first use of a Porsche racing car, a dream is coming true for Peter Schmidt.

In the 2023 season, in addition to the Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II, he will also field two brand new Porsche 911 GT3 R from the 992 series. “I’ve been always a big Porsche fan. The Porsche made the way for my current team, Car Collection Motorsport. I am very pleased to be able to field two Porsche 911 GT3 R in the coming season. But we will continue to work very closely with Audi Sport customer racing and use our well-known Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II,” says team boss Peter Schmidt.

Which series Car Collection Motorsport will be driven by the various manufacturers will be announced at a later date.
