Marc van der Straten (Boutsen VDS) : "The challenge is magnificent"

Marc van der Straten is not often in the media, but he was present yesterday evening in Wavre for the launch of Boutsen VDS, the new entity that brings together Boutsen Racing and Marc VDS. A good opportunity to ask a few questions to this sport enthusiast.

Since the end of the Marc VDS Racing Team's activities on four wheels, Count Marc van der Straten has kept a low profile in motor racing. At the end of 2015, the cat team ceased its activities in GT3 before continuing for another year in the Renault Sport Trophy. Since then, only Aurélien Panis and Alberto di Folco have worn the Marc VDS colours in GT category. The same will happen in 2023. Eight years later, Marc VDS is back in GT3, this time in collaboration with Boutsen Racing.
