While the 2022 season is not over yet, there are fewer and fewer seats available in the Hypercar class for 2023. But there are still some vacant ones, notably in the 963s.

We're not talking about the two cars entered by the factory under the Porsche Penske Motorsport banner, but the one entered by JOTA in the World Endurance Championship.

Unsurprisingly, we should find the Portuguese António Félix da Costa at the wheel of the Hertz-branded LMDh. The new official driver of the Zuffenhausen-based brand will be supported by Briton Will Stevens, with whom he triumphed in the LMP2 category in June and who is therefore also perfectly familiar with the Hignett-Clark team.

The mystery remained for a long time, but the third man will finally be the driver supported by Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Yifei Ye. The 22-year-old Chinese driver, who is the 2021 ELMS champion with WRT, run whit the Cool Racing colors in ELMS this year. He finished the season in fifth place in the championship with three podiums and one pole position. Porsche obviously pushed to put the 2016 French F4 champion in the British outfit's 963. Aside from Yifei's undeniable talent, China remains the world's largest market for the prestigious German carmaker, with as many as 95,671 vehicles delivered in 2021 (an 8% increase on 2020), despite the supply challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
