As soon as the 2022 WEC finale is over, Richard Mille Racing will take part in the Rookie Test at the Sakhir circuit. The French team, supported by Signatech, will run Marcus Armstrong and Olli Caldwell in the #1 car shared by Lilou Wadoux, Charles Milesi and Paul-Loup Chatin.    Marcus Armstrong, 22, is currently competing in Formula 2 with Hitech Grand Prix, where he is 12th in the championship with two races to go. In 2020 and 2021, the New Zealander drove first for ART Grand Prix and then for DAMS. Before that, he drove for PREMA in Formula 4 and Formula 3.    Olli Caldwell, who is two years younger, is also in Formula 2, but with Campos Racing where he is 20th in the championship. The Briton is familiar with endurance racing having competed in the 2018 Abu Dhabi 12 Hours in a Mercedes-AMG GT4 entered by Bullitt Racing with a class win to his name. Caldwell was at the start of the 2021 Bahrain 8H in the Oreca 07/ARC Bratislava.
