KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) will support Team Hong Kong in the GT Cup, GT Sprint Cup and Touring Car disciplines at the upcoming FIA Motorsport Games this weekend, with all three events taking place at Circuit Paul Ricard.

KCMG Founder Paul Ip and Team Hong Kong captain Marchy Lee Ying-Kin will race in the GT Cup in the #25 Honda NSX, with the programme featuring a 40-minute qualifying session, two 60-minute qualifying races before the final one-hour race. The duo competed last weekend in the finale of the Campionato Italiano GT Sprint championship in Italy, taking GT3-Am victory in Race 1 and second in class in Race 2 at Mugello.

Ying-Kin will also take part in the GT Sprint Cup, featuring a 20-minute qualifying and a one-hour race, which will be the final event of the weekend. KCMG will also provide support for the nation’s Touring Car entry, with Andy Cheuk Wai Yan taking to the track in the #3 Honda Civic Type R FK7.

Circuit Paul Ricard, less than an hour’s drive from the Games’ host city of Marseille, is one of the world’s most recognisable race tracks. The 5.842-kilometre circuit has hosted a huge variety of motorsports, including Formula 1, with the most recent French Grand Prix held in July of this year.

Paul Ip, #25 Honda NSX: "It’s an honour to once again represent Hong Kong in the FIA Motorsport Games with Marchy and for KCMG run in three categories. We’ve been preparing hard for this event and put in a solid performance at Mugello last weekend to get ready for the challenge. I’m excited to take on Circuit Paul Ricard, both as a competitor and as a manufacturer for Formula 4 and hopefully we can put in some positive performances."

Marchy Lee Ying-Kin, #25 Honda NSX: “We’re very excited for the FIA Motorsport Games and grateful for the support of KCMG. We’ve been working together with the team to be as ready as possible for the event and I’m hopeful we can have a strong weekend. Paul and I have been preparing well for this race and we have high hopes for Andy Yen in the Touring Cars discipline, so we believe the team can fight for some strong results.”

Andy Cheuk Wai Yan, #3 Honda Civic Type R FK7: “I’m really happy to be representing Team Hong Kong in the Touring Car event. It’s been a difficult few years without much racing due to the pandemic, but I’ve been doing some practice and testing and I’m feeling excited and confident ahead of the weekend.”
