Isotta Fraschini prepares a prototype (LMH) for 2023

A new manufacturer is set to join the World Endurance Championship field next season with a hypercar prototype based on LMH regulations.   Isotta Fraschini, an Italian manufacturer of luxury cars at the beginning of the 20th century, plans to make its return to top-level competition with the support of Michelotto Engineering, the well-known entity headed by Cristiano Michelotto, who has long worked for Ferrari.    The prototype will be presented in February before making its race debut at the 6 Hours of Spa, the third WEC round of the season.    Isotta Fraschini has a history of competition, particularly in hill-climbing. The brand is also active in the world of boating.
