Scuderia R&R is running a double programme this season and it should be the same in 2023 with a view to the GT2 class.

In addition to Italian GT, Scuderia R&R (Ruberti and Ravetto) is stepping outside its borders this year to successfully compete in the Ultimate Cup Series with several Ferrari 488s. The Italian team's 2022 season is coming to an end and plans for 2023 are underway.

"The team's 2022 season is fantastic," Manfredi Ravetto told Endurance-Info. "We will be fighting for the Italian GT Sprint title and then for the Ultimate Cup Series crown. This is the team's first year in GT3, so whether we win the championship or not, it's a successful season either way." Scuderia R&R already has the Italian GT Endurance title in the GT Cup in its pocket.

For next season, Scuderia R&R will again be active in Italian GT in the Cup class with several Ferraris. The Ultimate Cup Series could also be part of the 2023 plans.

But that's not all, as Manfredi Ravetto and Paolo Ruberti are working on a GT2 European Series programme. "We are talking to Maserati about the MC20 GT2," says Ravetto. "We are interested in this new car to have it at the end of 2023 and run it in 2024. It won't be ready for the start of the 2023 season anyway."

Other considerations are underway, such as the LMP3 category with Ligier or the JS2 R. What is assured is that Scuderia R&R will remain loyal to Ferrari for the GT Cup and GT3 categories.
