When he left Aston Martin Racing, it was clear that Maxime Martin had an idea of his professional future. According to what Endurance-Info revealed to you a few weeks ago, the Belgian will join BMW M Motorsport from 2023.   Runner-up in the BMW Sports Trophy in 2012, Maxime Martin officially joined BMW Motorsport the following year to drive in the United States for BMW Team RLL. He won the 24 Hours of Spa with the BMW M6 GT3, not forgetting his 64 DTM races (3 wins, 10 podiums) with the German brand.   All in all, Maxime Martin spent seven years with BMW before joining Aston Martin Racing. It is therefore a return home for him from next season with the new M4 GT3.   "It's another challenge for me," Maxime Martin told Endurance-Info. "My adventure with BMW M Motorsport left me with very good memories. We could have done something three years ago, but in the end it wasn't possible to finalise it. The desire to work together again was on both sides. I know everyone at BMW and the brand came back to me. This time we will be able to work together again."   Maxime Martin's 2023 programme has not been announced, but it is reasonable to assume that the Belgian will work with WRT in GT World Challenge Europe on a double Sprint and Endurance programme. After having raced against WRT in GT3 for several seasons, Maxime Martin would this time ally himself with the Belgian team. Will a Belgian be backing Valentino Rossi again in 2023, answer soon...
