Mercedes against the introduction of a premium kit for GT3 cars

While the premium kit for the GT3s is in trouble, Mercedes is not in favour of seeing any changes to the current GT3s.

The Mercedes-AMG GT3 remains competitive in the GT3 arena. This year, it still has a double podium at the Nürburgring 24 Hours and a victory at the Spa 24 Hours. Before the arrival of a new GT3 in 2025 or 2026, the current model could well find itself at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2024.
Like the other brands present in GT3, Mercedes-AMG is pleased that the specific kit, which was announced during the 24 Hours of Le Mans last June, has been abandoned.
