Bullitt Racing lost its chance of winning the GT3 title in the Michelin Le Mans Cup when Stephen Pattrick retired from the formation lap due to a run-off. GMB Motorsport won the title in its first season in the championship.

The gamble of running three Honda NSX GT3s in a GT3 class with only six cars has paid off. It is not yet clear which team will win, as the three pairs can still win.

What is certain is that GMB Motorsport will not be able to take a Honda NSX GT3 to Le Mans in 2023.

The plan to aim for Le Mans in 2024 is therefore anticipated by one year. For this, the team led by Casper Elgaard will have to equip itself with a GTE chassis.

Endurance-Info has learned that GMB Motorsport is expected to run an Aston Martin Vantage GTE at Le Mans next season.

Prior to the Portimao finale, Jensen/Poulsen have 93 points, Birch/Moller 77 points and Pedersen/Pedersen 75 points.
