Although the French manufacturer saw the checkered flag of the Japanese round of the WEC with its two 9X8s, it never threatened Toyota. Worrying?

What's new since Monza?
Remember : at the beginning of July, at Monza, only one of the two 9X8s saw the end of the race. But 25 laps down on the Alpine after spending 18' and then 20' in its box. "Traffic, debris... that's exactly why we came," said technical director Olivier Jansonnie. "We came to learn and we learned a lot. Fuji? I hope that we will arrive there having solved the problems we encountered here. But I wouldn't be surprised if we come across more."
