3 Sep. 2022 • 8:30
Following on from what was announced last wednesday, IMSA has unveiled the minimum driving time for a Bronze driver in GTD during the 2h40 races.
This season, in GTD, Bronze drivers were required to spend 45 minutes behind the wheel in a 2h40 race. This minimum driving time will be reduced by 10 minutes - to 35 minutes - in 2023. How much will it be in the other events? We don't know yet.
This change is in line with what was announced Wednesday (see HERE) : New GTD qualifying procedures ; Top 3 drivers in Bob Akin Bronze Cup Championship to be recognized ; WeatherTech Sprint Cup Returns.
