Michelin Le Mans Cup - Jan Magnussen with GMB Motorsport

The former Corvette driver, who has made 22 starts in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, has just been announced as a driver of one of the three Honda NSXs that the Danish team GMB Motorsport is running in the Michelin Le Mans Cup.

Jan will compete in the final two rounds of the 2022 season, at Spa-Francorchamps on September 24 and Portimao on October 15. He will share the wheel of the #88 car with Lars Pedersen.

''I've known Jan for many years and I'm really pleased to have reached an agreement with him," says owner Casper Elgaard. ''When I was active, he was one of my toughest opponents and I am looking forward to this new collaboration. It's a great reward for the whole team to have managed to attract such a renowned and successful driver in its first season.''

As a reminder, GMB Motorsport is having a superb first year in the Michelin Le Mans as before the last two rounds of the season, the danish team dominates the Team and Driver rankings thanks to the Kasper H. Jensen-Kristian Poulsen pairing.
