A controversial figure, Claude Vorilhon, better known as Raël, is at the center of a hit documentary series on the Netflix platform in which his racing past is explored. In 2022, Endurance-Info sought to find out more about the former Paul Belmondo Racing driver and friend of Jean-Claude Andruet. The man in white reckons he could have gone all the way to Formula 1 had it not been for the Elohim. Interview with Raël...

For the younger generation, the name Rael may not mean anything to you. For the others, if you type his name on the Internet, you will see that Claude Vorilhon, known as Raël, is the founder of the Raelian movement. In another life, this follower of human cloning was a race car driver after having directed a car sports magazine called Autopop in the early 1970s. Retired in Japan, Rael, aged 77, no longer gives interviews. Endurance-Info sought to contact him to find out more about his racing past.
