Last March, Jacky Ickx was the Grand Marshal at the Super Sebring 50 years after his 12H victory in a Ferrari 312PB shared with Mario Andretti. It is impossible to review the immense career of the Belgian champion in one story. For many, there is only one Mr Le Mans: Jacky Ickx. After the start of the 12 Hours of Sebring, the six-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans spoke to Endurance-Info. An intimate interview in his big GMC on the parking.

Happy to be back in Sebring?
"Everything that happens to me here is unexpected. My previous life is very far away and you don't expect to find your Ford GT40 more than half a century later. At my age I'm starting to see the chequered flag and every day is precious. Everything is unpredictable. I have to admit it's a miracle I'm still alive after 32 seasons, five of them on a motorbike."
