24H Spa: penalties for the 43 classified lineups

'No tolerance' The race direction had warned before the 24 Hours of Spa. The first penalty for not respecting the limits of the track came at 6:26 pm and it was the winning Mercedes that opened penalties with 25s (35s for the whole event). Of the 43 GT3s at the finish, only 5 did not take a single penalty. Better still, one two-car team did not take a single caution. Before the start of the 24 Hours of Spa 2022, we didn't know what to expect from an event that many people thought would be very complicated in terms of penalties for not respecting the limits of the track. Afterwards, everyone left satisfied with a penalty scale based on the number of infringements. Judges were positioned in the hottest corners around the track. With eight GT3s finishing in less than three minutes, any second lost could be fatal.
