It would have been curious if no manufacturer had looked into his case. Raffaele Marciello has been Mercedes' leading light in the GT3 category since 2017, with a Blancpain GT Sprint Cup title with AKKA-ASP in 2018, a FIA GT World Cup victory in 2019 and, of course, a success at the Spa 24 Hours last Sunday, an event that also saw him sign three pole positions in a row.

In both the IGTC and the Endurance Cup, the Italian has often finished in 2nd or 3rd place, but without ever winning a title. But perhaps he will remedy that this year before leaving Mercedes.
